Olly Murs Forced To Apologise Over Penis Pringles Prank That 'Disgusted' Fans

Earlier this week, singer Olly Murs gave his girlfriend Amelia Tank quite the surprise when she innocently reached into a Pringles tube, only to be greeted with his penis.
The prank saw the 35-year-old cut a hole in the bottom of a tube of Pringles before offering the pack to Amelia, who obviously reached in to grab a crisp, completely unaware of what was lurking in the tube.

While Olly found the whole thing hilarious - and the prank was meant in jest - some fans took to social media to say they were 'disgusted' at the singer's antics.
Now, the pop star has taken to Twitter to apologise, explaining he only intended to give fans a chuckle in these uncertain times.
"So I've had a few days to think about this, and wanted to apologise to anyone who has been offended by my social videos," he wrote.
"My intention was only to make people smile and laugh during these trying times. Am wishing you all a great bank holiday remember to #bekind #stayathome."
In the original video, which Olly shared on TikTok, the singer cheekily cuts a hole in the Pringles tube before holding it up to the camera.
Later, the pair can be seen sitting down on the sofa watching telly and eating snacks, when Olly offers his girlfriend a crisp from the Pringles pack.
Totally unaware of what's to come, personal trainer Amelia sticks her hand in the tube before recoiling in confused horror and calling him a "tw*t".
At the time, the video received a mixed reaction. While some saw the funny side, others were 'disgusted' to see why the pop star was trending on Twitter.

"It's not even 9am and olly murs has ruined my day. Never checking why a celeb is trending again," wrote one fan.
Ever since lockdown began, Olly has been posting heaps of videos and TikTok challenges with Amelia, including one clip of the pair racing across the floor on their hands and knees to eat the last Oreo doughnut.
Certainly looks like the singer will be sticking to the more PG pranks from now on...
