Speaking to HELLO! this week, Lydia also spoke about her relationship status with Loretta's dad, Lee Cronin.
The pair split when Lydia was 11 weeks pregnant, but now they're getting on "really well".
"Loretta was planned - this was always something we were going to do. So we decided to build up a relationship again. I didn't want to be angry anymore - what's happened has happened, I'm not going to hold a grudge," she said.
Now we're in a good place and I do love him, of course I do. I would love to think that we're going to be a family, and told him that if he could prove it to me between then and when the baby arrived then I would give things another shot. So that's what we're trying to do at the moment."
Lydia went on to explain that the pair haven't "had that discussion" over whether they are officially boyfriend and girlfriend again, but that they are committed to being a family.
Baby Loretta was born on Friday 21st February and weighed 7lbs 11oz. Lee was there to cut the cord, along with mum Debbie.
Sharing the first snap of her baby girl on Instagram, days after the birth, Lydia wrote: "My darling girl has arrived. I am so overwhelmed with love, she is absolutely perfect."
In the beautiful snap, the newborn can be seen clutching Lydia's thumb.
During her pregnancy, Lydia also revealed her little girl's nickname, 'Dinky Bright' - after her grandmother who passed away at the age of 21.
She explained it's likely her little one will always be known as 'Dinky'.
Congratulations, Lydia and Lee!
