Molly-Mae Hague has returned to social media this weekend, posting an Instagram story of her and boyfriend Tommy Fury's new home.

The 21-year-old Love Island star had taken a break from the likes of Instagram and Twitter after the tragic death of her Pomeranian puppy, Mr Chai, who passed away earlier this month.

Returning to Instagram today, Molly-Mae shared some photos and footage of what appears to be her and Tommy's new home.

It was reported last week that the couple had moved out of their first home together - a flat in Manchester city centre - but it is not clear why, or whether it had anything to do with Chai's death.

"I don't want to dwell on the last couple of weeks but what I do want to say is thank you," wrote Molly, on her stories.

"Thank you to every single person who has sent me such thoughtful messages asking me how I am and making sure I'm okay, it has meant the world to me.

"I've enjoyed a much needed break from my phone but I'm back now and ready to get stuck into some really exciting things I have coming up."

Molly went on to explain her and Tommy had had a "much needed change of location" adding: "Didn't realise how much I needed a fresh start."

In the stories, Molly first shared an image of the new living room, featuring a gigantic corner sofa and a fireplace complete with breathtaking glass patio doors and huge windows.

Tommy can be seen in shot, sprawled on the giant sofa and covered with a cosy blanket.

Next up was the bathroom, with Molly filming a video of the very lavish bath tub, walk in shower, wall to wall mirror, double sink and heated towel rails.

It seems the couple have still got a fair bit of unpacking to do, however, with the final snap showing one room filled with plastic boxes and belongings.

"Although this is reality right now," added Molly.

Meanwhile, Tommy posted his own story, sharing an image of the living room and writing: "Hey guys, we've had a much needed break from social media, but have decided to come back on today.

"Thank you for all the love and support. Fresh start now..."

The fresh start comes after Molly and Tommy's four and a half month old puppy, Mr Chai, tragically passed away earlier this month.

The couple had had the pup for just four days and following the announcement, they were inundated with criticism online, with many assuming the pup had taken ill because he had been imported from Russia. Others accused the couple of taking him outside before he had received his vaccinations.

Wanting to set the record straight and having received Mr Chai's autopsy results from their vet, Molly and Tommy, filmed an emotional and heartbreaking video on their YouTube channel.

"Neither of us wanted to film a video at all or talk about this, but after seeing everything today and reading everyone's opinions I think it's really important that we sit down and talk about it and explain how we're feeling and explain what we now know after receiving the autopsy results," said Molly.

"[...] From two days in, we started to pick up on a few things, his poo was runny, he wasn't eating that much and he started vomiting.

"We took him to the vet [...] The vet took him inside and we waited outside because of coronavirus. She rang us and said they were keeping him overnight because he might have an infection.

"We just thought we would pick him up the next day, but 30 minutes later she rang us and told us that Chai had had a seizure and that he had died."

Molly went on to explain that the autopsy discovered Chai had a number of life-threatening conditions, including that his skull wasn't formed properly - meaning some of his brain was exposed - and that he didn't have a single white blood cell left in his body.

"He was also born with some of his organs slightly enlarged," she explained. "What the vet said was that if Chai was in Russia, if Chai was in my mum's care, if Chai was born from a different breeder, Chai was always going to pass away with the conditions he was born with."
