Popstar Miley Cyrus just appeared to confirm her role in the fifth season of Black Mirror, which is set to air later this month.
Speculation has been rife that Miley will be appearing in Charlie Brooke's dystopian sci-fi series, after a report emerged on a South African news site, claiming that the singer had stayed in Cape Town while shooting for a show.
And then Miley's sister Brandi made the rumour go viral on her podcast You Favourite Thing earlier this month.

The popstar hadn't addressed these reports herself until Howard Stern confronted her over the rumours of a potential Black Mirror appearance on Sirius X radio.
"If you guess it, then I will shake my head 'yes'," Miley said when she was questioned over the rumours.

But when Howard tried to find out more details from Miley about what she meant, the singer said she wasn't allowed to mention Black Mirror by its name as she's not aloud to speak about it.
She then quipped: "I'm really actually excited for everyone to watch the 'headshaking project' we said yes to."
Miley said that while she is usually critical of herself, she felt it was "the first time I've left somewhere feeling really proud of my work".

Reps for the star and Netflix have not confirmed the casting.
Miley also opened up on the California wildfires which ravaged her and fiancé Liam Hemsworth's Malibu home earlier this year. She called Liam "incredible", adding "that is why you pair up with someone, for survival".
She continued : "He got all the animals out in his truck. He put two pigs in crates, which, I can tell you, is so hard."

"I think the hardest thing for both of us right now is to go back [to Malibu]," added the 'Wrecking Ball' singer.
Black Mirror series five will air on 28th December.
