Megan Barton-Hanson Responds To Rumours She Spent The Night With Pete Wicks

Love Island's Megan Barton-Hanson has responded to rumours she spent the night with TOWIE star, Pete Wicks after a boozy night out.

Earlier in the week it was reported that Megan, who is still dating her villa flame Wes Nelson, had disappeared with Pete after a night out at the Animal Hero Awards in London, last month.

Last night, Megan and Wes were at the Pride of Britain awards, where Pete was also in attendance, when they were spotted leaving early after. Sources told The Mirror they were 'whispering furiously' with each other before departing.

Now, Megan has finally addressed the cheating rumours, telling her Instagram followers: "I did plan on writing a long caption to address all of the recent BS stories about our relationship etc but to be honest I'm knackered, I have a lot going on right now and just can't be a*sed!

"Slowly realising all that matters is what's going on right here, right now and that me and Wes are happy.

"Everything else is just part of the show/media pantomime! Hope you are all having a nice day and getting excited for Halloween. Love, positivity and happiness."

Megan made the statement alongside a photo of her and Wes smiling as they posed on the purple carpet and it wasn't long before Wes responded, commenting: "Say it louder for the people at the back bebehh, I love you!"

Earlier in the week it was claimed Megan and Pete had 'disappeared' together at around 4.30am after 'flirting all night'.

"Megan and Pete hit it off from the moment they first started talking - they both seemed keen to get to know each other better," a source told The Sun.

"At first Pete was very cautious and made it clear he wasn't interested due to her being in a relationship with Wes. But as the night progressed they'd both had a lot to drink and were having fun."
