Love Island's Kaz Crossley and Josh Denzel have split just six months after meeting in the villa.

Kaz revealed the news on Instagram this morning, telling fans: "Sometimes things don't go the way you planned, but you have to be grateful for the journey.

"Thank you for everything especially showing me how to love myself again."

Josh seemingly confirmed the news by commenting a sad face underneath the post, which features a picture of the pair holidaying in Jamaica.

The presenter's representative added: "Josh and Kaz have sadly decided to part ways."

The shock split means that winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham and Zara McDermott and Adam Collard are the only couples still together from the 2018 series.

Kaz and Josh recently enjoyed a romantic getaway to Miami and then Jamaica over the new year, before Kaz headed off to Thailand to celebrate her birthday with a group of friends.

When she returned to the UK this week, Kaz went to stay with her fellow Islander, Laura Anderson, prompting fans to believe there might have been issues between her and Josh.

Kaz and Josh's relationship had a rather turbulent start when sports presenter Josh famously dumped Georgia Steel for her.

Despite Georgia accusing him of not being 'loyal, babe,' it was clear Josh had made the right decision when the loved-up pair declared their love for each other and became girlfriend and boyfriend during their time in the villa.

The split comes just one week after Megan Barton-Hanson announced her split from Wes Nelson in a Gwyneth Paltrow-style post.

It has been widely reported that Megan struggled to deal with his stint on Dancing On Ice and she has since spoken about how her how her "world is crumbling."

Just before Christmas, Dani took to Instagram to announce she and Jack's relationship wasn't built for the long term, before removing the post and denying they had split.

We can't take any more of this heartache, Islanders.
