Lisa Kudrow has spoken out about the body images issues she faced working alongside Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox on Friends - and it makes for sad listening.
We all know that the 90s were a different time in terms of body image. Far from having the diversity we enjoy today in fashion campaigns and on the red carpet, we had the era of 'heroin chic' and super waif supermodels.
And it seems a star of one of most popular sitcoms of the decade wasn't even immune to the pressures.

Speaking with Marc Maron on his WTF podcast, Lisa, who played Phoebe Buffay, said she felt huge pressures during the filming of Friends.
"You see yourself on TV and it's that, 'Oh, my God, I'm just a mountain of a girl'," the 55-year-old said.
"I'm already bigger than Courteney and Jennifer - bigger, like my bones feel bigger. I just felt like this mountain of a woman next to them."

Lisa also touches on the "battle" she sometimes goes through if her weight fluctuates.
"So what? So what? Are you going to kill yourself? Really? It's that bad that you don't deserve to live? And it's like 'Well I don't deserve to be seen by anybody'," she says.
Despite her insecurities, Lisa said that she's learnt to overcome them now that she's older. She adds: "I just go, 'All right, so what? You're older that's a good thing, why is that a bad thing?'"
Lisa also revealed that she was always getting ill from trying to stay thin.

"Unfortunately for a woman, if you're underweight, you look good. And that's all I ever got. When I was too thin, I was sick all the time. A cold, sinus infection... I was always sick," she said.

Lisa played Phoebe in the hit Warner Bros production from 1994 to 2004, and has since maintained a close relationship with her co-stars Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green) and Courteney Cox (Monica Geller).
