Lady Gaga Delivered An Important Message On Mental Health At The Grammys

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper picked up a Grammy for the best Pop Duo last night, but in true Gaga fashion, she used it as an opportunity to talk about something far more important.

Gaga couldn't hold back tears when she accepted the prestigious award, but she managed to deliver a powerful message about mental health.

She told the crowd: "I'm so proud to be a part of a movie that addresses mental health issues. They're so important.

"And a lot of artists deal with that. And we gotta take care of each other.

"So if you see somebody that's hurting, don't look away.

"And if you're hurting, even though it might be hard, try to find that bravery within yourself to dive deep and go tell somebody and take them up in your head with you."

A Star Is Born shows Cooper's character Jackson's mind slipping into depression as well as exploring the impact his suicide would have on his family and friends. It's no doubt Gaga's powerful message stems from this and will strike a chord with people all over the world.

Not only did Gaga bag her joint Grammy with Cooper, but she also got one for her album for Joanne for Best Solo Pop Performance.

She wrote on Twitter: "I'm not gonna be able to wear any makeup tonight. We just won our first of Grammy nominations for the night.

"I'm in tears with honor and gratitude. Thank you @RecordingAcad #Grammys #Grammy and my co-writers and Bradley I love you so much thank you."

So deserved.
