Nicki Minaj and Cardi B made headlines all over the world when they became embroiled in a fight at a New York Fashion Week party at the weekend, and now Kelly Rowland has had her say on the matter.
Eyewitnesses at the Harper's Bazaar Icon's party say that Cardi B 'lunged' at Nicki Minaj before the pair were separated and Cardi threw a shoe the fellow rapper.
Since the dispute, a lot of people have weighed in on the fight and it turns out that Destiny's Child babe Kelly Rowland also saw the drama first hand, but she was not impressed.
"I think in a time where Serena Williams is fighting for equality," she told E! News, "I love both Nicki Minaj and Cardi B and I think they are extremely talented - and in a time when she is fighting for women's equality, we just can't be fighting."
Kelly continued: "There's no time for us as women to fight and they just so talented and I just genuinely love them both so much, but it's just not the time. We have way bigger issues as women, you know what I mean? So I don't know. I'm Switzerland, I don't f*cking know."
After the fight took place, Cardi took to Instagram to claim Nicki had spoken about her daughter, telling fans "all bets are f*cking off."
"When you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all f*cking bets are off," she wrote. "I've worked too hard and come too far to let anybody f*ck with my success."
Nicki then broke her silence on her take on the fight, during her radio show Queen Radio, saying: "I could not believe how humiliating it all felt... how we made ourselves look.
"I would never discuss anyone's child and it's so sad that for someone to pin that on me because I'm the bad guy and people would believe them."
