Thankfully, a whole new bunch of celebs are going to be cha-cha-cha-ing their way onto our screens later this year, and the BBC Christmastime-staple has revealed its first contestant.
Katie Piper has just signed up to the series, with the show announcing the news to Strictly fans in a glittering reveal on BBC Breakfast.
The 34-year-old explained that her hubby, Richard James Sutton, thought she was joking when she first told him about the show.
Excitedly reflecting on her upcoming gig, the mama-of-two shared a snap on her Instagram, along with a few words.

"Thank you for all your lovely messages," wrote Katie. "I'm super excited but very nervous about being a contestant on this years @bbcstrictly it's going to be a challenge but everyone who knows me knows I love a challenge so here goes... a new chapter in my life!"
Strictly Come Dancing also revealed the news on Twitter, announcing: "It's time for our very first celeb reveal of 2018! Welcome to #Strictly, Katie Piper."

Katie will be competing for the Glitter Ball trophy with a handful of other twinkle-toed celebs, with Strictly promising to reveal another two of their identities today (Monday, 13th August).
It's unclear who Katie is going to be partnered up with, although there will be some new faces when it comes to the professionals, as Brendan Cole was 'axed' after last year's series...

Katie has been struggling to remain tight lipped about her Strictly gig, telling BBC Breakfast hosts: "It's been really hard with colleagues saying, 'I'm getting married in October and I'd love for you to be there'.
"I might be, maybe, hopefully not."
