Kate Middleton and Prince William were among stars like Olivia Coleman and Bradley Cooper when they attended the BAFTA Awards at the weekend, where they were greeted with huge cheers from the crowd.
While members of the public whooped and cheered as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived outside the Royal Albert Hall in Kensington, London, the noise quickly fell to silence as the couple entered the auditorium...
The Duke, who is also President of BAFTA, turned to Kate and said: "Let's sit quickly," while Kate said: "It's so quiet!"

Attending the awards ceremony, Kate made a tribute to William's late mum, Princess Diana, by wearing her favourite earrings to the function.
The Duchess carefully chose the same South Sea Pearl accessories that Diana wore to a concert at Royal Albert Hall in 1991 herself.
Kate teamed the jewels with a gorgeous white Alexander McQueen dress with a floral motif. The Duchess chose the designer's current creative director, Sarah Burton, to design her wedding dress back in 2011 and also wore a dress by Burton at her sister Pippa's wedding in 2017.
The BAFTA outfit was completed with Jimmy Choo heels said to be worth an eye-watering £525 and a beautifully subtle clutch bag.

Kate and William have attended the awards ceremony together every year since William was made President in 2010.
Broadchurch star Olivia Coleman was awarded with the gong for Best Actress for The Favourite, while Rachel Weisz bagged Best Supporting Actress.
Speaking of her co-stars Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone, Colman said: "As far as I'm concerned, all three of us are the same and should be the leads, and it's weird we can't do that.
