We've all done slightly embarrassing things in the past that we don't want our loved-ones to know about, and for Jason Momoa, that's Baywatch.

The actor's first ever role was playing lifeguard Jason Ioane in Baywatch Hawaii from 1999 to 2001.

But he's admitted in a recent interview that despite his kids being his biggest fans, he'd rather his kids knew nothing about it.

"They got to see a lot of stuff that Papa's been doing. The earlier things in my career, you can't see that. But you can see the new things," Jason told an Australian radio show Fitzy and Wippa.

Which means, no Baywatch. In fact, Jason likes to pretend it never even happened.

"We don't say the B-word at home! We hide all of that mate! Never happened mate!" joked Jason.

We, however, are very happy Baywatch happened.

A picture of Jason as the lifeguard in the beach-based drama emerged earlier this year and the internet went wild for the throwback snap.

Jason looked very different to his usual rugged-self in the picture, sporting short hair and a clean-shaven face.

Although of course, still very very handsome.

After his stint as a TV lifeguard, Jason eventually went on to join the cast of HBO's behemoth drama Game of Thrones as Khal Drogo.

But for obvious reasons (all that sex and violence, we're assuming), Game of Thrones is also off-limits for the kids.

"They're not going to watch Game of Thrones either...even though it's fantastic," he added.

Outside of TV, Jason has also starred in Aquaman and Justice League and he's completely ok with his kids watching the superhero stuff.

"Right now - superheroes and on - we're good," he added.

We bet those kids are proud regardless.
