Idris Elba is a man of many talents, from his incredible acting to his new found status as an established house DJ. The man has got it all going for him.

Now it has been revealed the entrepreneur doesn't want to stop there, as he's opening his own cocktail bar in London.

The Luther star's new bar, The Parrot, will be housed within the Waldorf Hilton hotel in London and will consist of an intimate cocktail bar and live music venue, which sounds right up our street.

It will house just 60 seats and is inspired by tropical destinations, offering a hidden cocktail menu, small delicious plates and even secret shows and exclusive events.

The delicious meals will be made by The Waldorf's resident chef Karl Richardson and it promises the small plates will "perfectly encapsulate the theme of this tropical hideaway."

It seems Idris isn't scrimping any costs when it comes to making his venue as luxurious as possible, as it will even have its own chauffeur-driven car so that VIP guests can arrive and leave The Parrot in style.

The venue will even offer nightly entertainment will a professional house band who will perform popular covers while the bar will host secret shows and screenings.

Idris will open the bar in partnership with Lee and Nick Caulfield in October and the only thing we think would make it better, would if Idris were to hop on the decks himself and play a few tunes.

The three entrepreneurs promise a "whole host of A-List surprises, from a hidden cocktail menu to regular, unannounced secret shows and an exclusive guest list."

News of Idris' latest venture comes after a lot of speculation that he would replace Daniel Craig as the new James Bond.

However, the 46-year-old has since put an end to the rumours, when he was asked by Good Morning Britain reporter Divya Kohli. She asked if she was looking at the next 007 and he simply replied: "No."

Well, looks like he's got enough to keep him busy at the moment.
