Gemma Collins has posted an emotional clip to Instagram showing how her father was badly affected by coronavirus.
The 40-year-old TOWIE star took to social media to celebrate her parents' wedding anniversary, as she announced that both her mum, Joan, and dad, Alan, had been married for 44 years today.
However, Gemma revealed the last few months had been incredibly difficult for the Collins clan, with Alan having to be hospitalised after being stricken by coronavirus three months ago.
In an emotional Instagram video, Gemma posted a conversation her mum had with Alan, 73, when he was on a ventilator being treated for deadly infection.

In tears, Joan said at the time: "I love you, I'm so upset, Al. I can't believe it. Just make sure you're doing everything right."

Gemma added, in tears: "We're so worried about you. We worry about you every minute of the day."
Alan replied: "Don't worry about me, I'll be okay."
In another post dedicated to her mum and dad, Gemma described how difficult the last few months had been with her father so ill.
"Three months ago we didn't know if [my dad] was going to make it, beside ourselves daily scared, heartbroken, and the truth is we didn't see much hope!

"We had everyone there was sending healing love and prayers it was a miracle you pulled through."
She continued: "Dad was so strong for us all even when he was so unwell. Today is so special but this is the reality of Covid and how it's ripped through people in so many ways, I thank God every day you made it."
Alan was discharged from hospital in January this year, a month after he was first admitted as his body fought coronavirus.
Gemma added that her dad is still not entirely recovered, as he is currently suffering from long Covid.
