Fans Leap To Jason Momoa’s Defence After He Was Body-Shamed

Jason Momoa has been body-shamed online - and his fans are not impressed.

Jason Momoa is usually considered one of the most perfect men on the planet, ever since he first stole our hearts as Khal Drogo on Game of Thrones.

However, even the winner of the "100 Most Handsome Men" competition isn't immune from body-shaming - and fans have leapt to his defence.

After Jason, 39, was photographed on holiday with his wife Lisa Bonet, some inconsiderate people decided they would tweet about his physique, saying he had a "dad bod" and asking what had happened to his abs.

It goes without saying that even if he did have a dad bod, Jason - or anyone else for that matter - should never be body-shamed. But let's just remind ourselves that this is one of the most ripped men on the planet.

Fans couldn't believe anyone had the audacity to criticise Jason's body shape, and took to Twitter to defend the star.

One fan wrote: "So, people are criticizing #JasonMomoa for having a dad bod? Y'all wish you looked like that. I wish I looked like that."

Another asked: "How is this a dad bod? Dad's wish they have this bod. Put some damn respect on Jason Momoa's name".

Other Jason enthusiasts tweeted: "So apparently people are shaming Jason Momoa's Dad bod... you know the body where he looks like an above average fit man instead of a Spartan Warrior?"

Some people said that Jason's alleged dad bod was making them feel better about their own bodies. One fan wrote: "As a person with terrible body dysmorphia I appreciate Jason Momoa's "dad bod". It's not like he did it intentionally, but shows that people go through weight fluctuations. Not everyone is shredded all the time, and also people are mean about all bods."

Despite all the controversy, we're pretty sure Jason is just having a great holiday and not that bothered about internet users speculating on his weight - but still, people, less of the body-shaming, please.
