Everyone's Sharing The Same Spice Girls Meme And It's Causing An Online Debate

The iconic 90s girl power popstars are reuniting for a six-date UK tour next year.

The Spice Girls reunion has divided the nation with the news that Victoria Beckham won't be joining in with the six-date UK tour.

Despite Posh Spice already breaking her silence on her absence from the reunion, a meme is now doing the rounds on social media, harshly suggesting why Victoria isn't get involved.

The edited image shows Sporty, Baby, Scary and Ginger Spice holding cards, which read: "Come see us on tour! We're all skint!"

Posh Spice has been cropped out of the middle of the old image and moved to the end of the line. Her card reads: "Except me lol f*ck u hun."

The response has been divided, although some have been able to see the funny side.

"This has got me. I'm done!" joked one person, while somebody else shared: "I love the Spice Girls but this did make me chuckle."

"Love them but we had to laugh," posted another.

But defending the girl power brand, one person fired back: "Some of the nasty memes & comments I've seen about the #SpiceGirls reforming are disgusting.

"Saying they are only doing it for the money, desperate etc. I don't remember this level of vitriol when Take That reformed after 10 yrs #DoubleStandards."

While the world debates why fashion designer Victoria won't be hitting the road for a musical comeback, she did wish the rest of her former bandmates the best with a heartwarming Instagram post.

Not explaining the reasons why she's sitting this one out, Posh Spice shared: "Today marks a special day for the girls as they announce the first tour dates since we performed together in 2012!

"I won't be joining my girls on stage again but being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish them so much love and fun as they go back on tour next year.

"I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time! X vb #spicegirls #friendshipneverends."

From Saturday, 1st June, the girls will be hitting Manchester, Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, Bristol and London stadiums for the Spice World - 2019 UK tour. The four iconic popstars will be supported by Jess Glynne.
