Chrissy Teigen just revealed on Twitter that the entire world has been pronouncing her surname completely wrong throughout her career, and she's given up trying to correct us all.
The surprising revelation all began when one fan tweeted to announce that we have also all been saying Ariana Grande's name wrong. (Basically, the pop star's surname should be said 'Grandee' not 'Granday'.)
"You know how innocent you have to be to allow a world to pronounce yo last name wrong yo whole life and just go along with it?" the fan shared, and the post quickly went viral.
And then just to make things even more complicated, somebody else replied: "Well we pronounce @chrissyteigen's name wrong all the time," but didn't provide any context sending social media into meltdown.
Chrissy's pretty active on Twitter, so she quickly cleared things up for her fans, confirming the pronunciation bombshell.
Replying to the tweet, the new mum-of-two announced: "Word! gave up a long time ago. last name is tie-gen not tee-gen."

Things really started to get complicated when one of her followers threw a spanner in the works though, pointing out that even Chrissy mispronounces her last name all the time too.
"But wait...when you say it YOU say tee-gen!" they exclaimed.

"I know. I even correct people when they say it correctly. it's all v effed up," the model tweeted, before adding: "I don't correct people, ever. They can call me Janet and I won't. Wrong order? I'll eat it. Taxi going to the wrong airport? I'll change my flight."
A clearly confused Chrissy then posted: "I don't correct people but I do I don't know im so tired please let me go [sic]."
Chrissy also shared a tutorial for her fans who still weren't sure on how they should be saying her name.
