Doctor Alex George might have been unlucky in love in the villa, but the Love Island star has just confirmed a new romance with a loved-up Instagram snap.
The trained medic announced on New Year's Day that he has coupled up with Ibiza Weekender star Amelia Bath with a sweet post of the two together.

Paying homage to his time in the villa under a picture of the two, Alex wrote: "The person I would like to couple up with is...."
The new relationship won't come as a surprise to fans as the doc teased a new relationship on the Love Island Christmas reunion in December.
Talking to his fellow Islanders, Alex declared: "I've got a girlfriend but you guys don't know her."

Ibiza Weekender fans will remember that Amelia starred in the sixth series of the show back in 2016. She's turned her back on reality TV for now as she is currently working as a dancer.
Amelia also confirmed her romance with the NHS doctor with another cute snap of the two wearing matching trench-style coats moments after Alex shared his picture. In the caption, the dancer wrote: "His and Hers."
Fans went wild for the relationship confirmation, commenting on how happy the pair look together.

It is unclear how the pair met or how long exactly they have been together, with Alex waiting until now to reveal the identity of his new woman.

Rumours previously circulated that the Love Island star was dating Team GB Olympic snowboarder Aimee Fuller after the pair were spotted on each other's Instagram accounts. But it seems like Alex and Aimee are just friends.
