Danny Dyer Says He Sobbed Every Night Watching Daughter Dani On 'Love Island'

Appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show, the soap star confessed that he 'sobbed every night' while watching Dani on the hit reality dating show.

"I was bang in trouble... I said goodbye to her, they take her blower off her and I'm watching her on the telly like everyone else," explained Danny.

He continued: "It is hard work, mate. I was sobbing my heart out every night, I'm a sensitive soul."

Danny also admitted that he warned Dani against signing up to Love Island , but now says he is proud of the way she came across on the series.

The EastEnders actor continued: "She is a beautiful little soul. I did tell her not to do [Love Island]... but I got it wrong.

"She did it with grace and dignity. She did find a geezer, but she didn't do none of that [sex on the show]."

He added: "'I said to her, 'If you're going to do it, win it'. She is quite a vulnerable little thing and I think she showed that vulnerability, she is a normal kid.

"I think people because of me had a perception of her, but she was anything but that."

Instead, Danny explained that the Love Island stars had actually had a row and Dani have posted the statement to 'punish' Jack.

Finally explaining what went on, Danny shared: "They've had a row, she's got a bit emotional and I think she has whacked that [message] up and immediately regretted it.

"You know what women are like... I'm just saying she got a little bit irate, screaming and shouting, the ultimate way to punish him maybe. I don't know what was going on but I can tell you now, they're sweet."
