We love nothing more than a celeb-on-celeb interview.

The format usually opens the way for some juicy gossip and no-holds-barred questioning - which Avengers costars Chris Evans and Paul Rudd proved all too well this week.

The pair were chatting as part of Variety's Actors on Actors series when Chris asked Paul the mother of all questions.

While discussing the upcoming Ant-Man movie, Paul, 51, was treading carefully while trying not to give away any spoilers, when Chris, 39, decided to steer the conversation towards less risky (but more risqué) territory.

He joked: "I might as well ask you what your paychecks are. Paul, what's your penis size?"

Wow, say what's really on your mind, Chris!

Luckily, Paul took the question on the chin and quipped back: "It's even bigger than my paycheck. Put your own Ant-Man joke there."

Never change, Paul Rudd.

Later in the interview, Chris addressed the frankly mind-boggling topic of Paul's ageing process.

The baby-faced actor seemingly hasn't aged since he starred in Clueless in 1995.

Chris asked: "Why don't you age? Are you drinking baby blood?"

"I most certainly age," Paul laughed back. Hmmm, we're not so sure, Paul.

The actor also spoke about his role in Friends, where he played Phoebe Buffay's husband Mike Hannigan between 2002 and 2004.

"In something like Friends, the show was about them, but it's an interesting thing to be a part of," he said. "I was only in it for just a blip."

"I felt, 'I'm like a prop on this show. It's not about Mike Hannigan,'" he went on.

"But there's a very interesting feeling to be a part of something that has that kind of profound impact on pop culture."
