Cheryl has been out of the limelight for the past few months, but the former Girls Aloud star has just made her social media comeback and we're officially ready for her return.

The singer has kept a fairly low profile since it was revealed she and former One Direction star Liam Payne had decided to part ways after the birth of their first child, Bear Payne.

Now, after months of talk, Chezza is back with some pretty exciting news. The mama-of-one has just released a cheeky preview of the music video for her new single, Love Made Me Do It.

One excited fan replied: "I'm SO proud of you I'm so excited for this chapter," while another added: "I'm so excited for this, yess Cheryl is back baby #LoveMadeMeDoIt."

Others suggested the name of her new single could be a nod towards her ex, Liam, with one fan writing: "I'm so ready for u to slay us. Give us some more Liam related songs."

Cheryl hinted she'd be making her musical comeback after four long years, back in January when she was pictured in the studio.

The former X Factor judge spent time with show winners Rak-Su and Naughty Boy, who shared a little teaser on his Instagram account, with the caption: "SQUAD @raksuraksu @cherylofficial #fblock #naughty #music #watchthisspace."

"It has been so long, my fans are very patient," she told Lorraine Kelly earlier in the year. "I am receiving some songs and music and stuff at the moment.

"I've got the luxury of being able to spend time with my newborn child and I'm going to take that for what it is. A lot of mothers have to rush back after giving birth. I don't think it's fair."

A source also revealed music would be Cheryl's main focus following her split from Liam, telling The Sun: "Cheryl is back in the studio and music is her main priority for 2018."
