Channing Tatum has written a children's book - and he announced it in the best way possible.

Taking to Instagram to reveal the news, the 40-year-old actor posted a rather muscly photograph of himself holding up the book, titled The One and Only Sparkella.

Explaining the kids' book is inspired by his seven-year-old daughter, Everly, Channing wrote: "Guys, I don't know about you but things got a little weird for me in quarantine.

"I ended up accidentally locking myself in my 7 year old daughter's room. And I ended up finding my inner child. So this is what I created for my little girl. From what is, I guess, the little girl in me. Thanks for reading."

In the snap, Channing is dressed like a unicorn, surrounded by unicorn toys and a unicorn themed Hello Kitty. Importantly, he's also pretty much topless - which hasn't gone unnoticed by fans.

One person wrote: "This is the kind of quarantine I want to be in!"

While another commented: "He's wrote a children's book... can he get any more perfect?"

The book will be released on 4th May 2021 and is dedicate to seven-year-old Everly, who Channing shares with ex wife, Jenna Dewan.

According to PEOPLE the dedication is set to read: ''To Everly, the most brilliant magical being that I have ever known. You are my greatest teacher.

''My only wish is for more time in this life to play in all of the magical realms we have created. This is also for all Dads that might have a little girl... Wear whatever, dance however, and be as magical as you can. Because I promise they will return the love.''

Aw, you're crying!

The adorable picture book follows the story of Ella, a little girl who gets teased at school for her love of all things sparkly.

Despite this, she is encouraged to be true to herself by her dad, and it's believed the book will be the first in what is expected to be a series.

If you're desperate to get your hands on Sparkella, you can pre-order it on Amazon now. We've got a feeling this could be a bestseller...
