Lady Gaga fans were left in awe over the weekend when she invited Bradley Cooper on stage to sing their hit duet 'Shallow' together for her closing number in Vegas.

The Star Is Born co-stars surprised fans who came to Gaga's Enigma show to reprise on of the film's most popular moments, and it sounds incredible.

But, it seems the pair might've put on too good of a performance (if that's even possible), with some fans being left fascinated by their on-stage chemistry, prompting them to believe there must be something going on between them, because there's absolutely no way a man and woman can possibly be close friends or colleagues without getting it on. Yawn.

One Twitter user posted: "Wish these 2 were a real love story the way they look at each other."

Another said: "I ship them together. They have amazing chemistry."

One less subtle Twitter user added: "Bradley must be knocking off Lady Gaga, the dawg."

Yes, that's the only explanation for their raw talent and incredible performance - it all makes sense now.

Others were simply in awe at their performance, with many claiming it left them with goosebumps, and it's not hard to see why.

"I could watch this on repeat forever. Every song they perform together brings me to tears. #AStarIsBorn," one fan tweeted.

Another added: "Omg, been waiting for this moment forever."

Unsurprisingly, Gaga's stunning portrayal in the film bagged her two Oscar nominations for Best Actress and Best Original Song.

Bradley directed and starred in the third remake of the original 1937 film, after it was previously adapted for a 1954 musical starring Judy Garland and James Mason, and a rock musical in 1976 with Barba Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.
