Billie Faiers was left looking uncomfortable on the This Morning sofa, after Philip Schofield grilled her about the cost of her luxury Maldives wedding.

It seems Phil had been doing a bit of digging when he claimed the glamorous do cost the former TOWIE star £229,000.

"My God, you must be earning beautifully to be able to do this," Phil told her. "This is the Kuramathi resort in the Maldives. So, we had a look, if you were to stay there next Saturday it would be £650 a night.

"That would be £4,588 for a week for the superior beach villa. The whole week for 100 guests - £229,000. So you must have got a deal there."

Billie and her sister Sam giggled awkwardly as Sam responded: "Not much of a deal."

Not backing off, Phil continued: "£229 grand for your wedding?"

Finally, 29-year-old Billie admitted: "Yeah, it wasn't quite that."

"Right, so they did you a deal?" Phil asked again.

She explained: "Because there was a large group of us we had the beach houses and split them in two.

"Two families would be in one beach house. It really helped us out with the rooms and stuff."

"Yeah, that's nice," Phil replied, although his face told a very different story.

When Phil went on to ask about the alleged complaints that had been made by other guests staying in the resort, Billie said most of the rumours were "absolute rubbish."

She continued: "There was a guest complaint because we was a little bit noisy around the pool one day.

"But when you get 100 people together we're gonna be a little bit noisy.

"Most of the events we did were private events on the island. Other guests were getting involved it was a really big island."

Billie's wedding was filmed for The Mummy Diaries, and she admitted she can't wait to watch it back.

"It was everything and more. It was just amazing. I can't believe how quick it went when everyone tells you just take a moment."

This Morning continues on weekdays at 10.30am.
