Ariana Grande has responded to claims she's 'milking' Mac Miller's death in the best way possible.

Mac died of a suspected drug overdose in September and despite being on good terms with ex, following the end of their two-year relationship in May, Ariana faced a barrage of abuse from vile trolls went as low as accusing her for his death.

Now, Ariana has faced yet more abuse after she posted a heartfelt message to her former lover on Thanksgiving, but the Thank u, Next singer is having none of it.

"Ariana let it go... Mourn it behind closed doors. Stop milkin' it when you wasn't even there when he was at his lowest right before it happened," one particularly opinionated Twitter user wrote.

But, in true Ariana style, instead of stooping to their level (which we probably would've done in that scenario), she responded with compassion for her internet troll.

"I pray you never have to deal with anything like this ever and I'm sending you peace and love," she replied.

Later, Ariana added: "Some of the sh*t I read on here makes me sick to my stomach. It scares me the way some people think and I don't like this world a lot of the time. If only we could be more compassionate and gentle with one another. That'd be sick."

Clearly moved by Ariana's kind words, singer Halsey added: "Ari, the world could only dream of being as compassionate and gentle as you. And since you're being, as always, so classy and nice, allow me the honour of telling them to shut the f*ck up."

Ariana continued: "Everything I feel is valid and safe. Everything I do is genuine and honest. There is no right or wrong during this period."

We're with you on this one, Ari.
