Ant And Dec Share 'Britain's Got Talent' Reunion Selfie After 10 Months Apart

Britain's favourite TV duo Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were seen at work for the first time together in nearly a year this Friday.

The pair arrived for the first Britain's Got Talent 2019 audition at the London Palladium this afternoon and, ahead of their arrival, the comic hosts shared their first joint selfie in months on twitter alongside the caption: "#BGT 2019. Audition day 1. The boys are back in town!"

The simple snap showed the best friends and colleagues smiling as they sat in the back of their chauffeured car.

It's the first time the BGT presenters have been seen working together since the last Britain's Got Talent audition stage, after which Ant was taken off the show in the wake of his drink-driving crash and fans signed a collective sigh of relief:

After a revelation of Ant's alcohol and prescription drug addiction, Ant and Dec - along with ITV bosses - decided it was the right thing for him to take the rest of the year off to focus on getting sober.

For the first time in the 16-year history of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Ant didn't fly out to Australia to present with co-host Dec.

Instead, This Morning Presenter, Holly Willoughby, temporarily stepped into his role, leaving co-host Philliip Schofield in the UK to work with ex-Saturdays star Rochelle Humes.

While long-term friends Ant and Dec have spent time together away from the prying eyes of cameras, they've not appeared onscreen together since last April - when the last of the pre-recorded BGT 2018 auditions aired.

Dec presented the Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway finale by himself and then jetted off to America for the star-studded season wrap.

Since last April, Ant's new relationship with former PA Anne-Marie Corbett has been revealed, which has caused a further rift between him and his estranged wife, Lisa Armstrong.

Lisa was employed as senior makeup artist for over a decade on Britain's Got Talent and today is the first BGT audition in 12 years that she hasn't been part of the show,.

But it was claimed that it was "untenable" for him and Lisa to work together, even if they never came into direct contact.

Friends of Lisa said she had been expecting the move since Ant decided to return to the show.

Ant and Dec will be joined at the London Palladium by Britain's Got Talent judges Simon Cowell , Amanda Holden , Alesha Dixon and David Walliams .

Britain's Got Talent returns to ITV in April.
