With just a couple of weeks until the show is set to air, the Love Island casting team are looking for a disabled contestant in a bid to make this year's lineup more diverse. And they might just have found one.

"Casting are actively approaching for someone who visibly has a disability," a source told The Sun.

"It's all part of the show trying to be as diverse as possible.

"The final line-up hasn't been sorted yet but it would be ideal if they had at least one disabled islander."

The show's producers have approached para-athlete and influencer, Milly Pickles.

If rumours are true, she could be joining Aimee-Rose Francis, Alexis Bailey, Toluwa Adepeju, Harley Benn, Alisha LeMay, James Price, Ellis Iyayi, Jay Munro, Zack Chugg, Holly Ramsay, Lucy Plunkett and Lucinda Strafford in the villa this year.

Here are a few things we know about her.

Milly is a para-athlete

Milly had to have her leg amputated after being electrocuted and since then, she's embraced her disability.

The 24-year-old's Instagram is full of positive photos of her running and training in the gym and on the track. She's a model for GymShark and Free Train.

Speaking about her accident, Milly wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post: "If I could go back & change what happened, I wouldn't. It has changed my life for the better, opened up so many opportunities & altered the way I view life. I have learnt so much about myself. I have always been strong, but going through what I have made me realise HOW strong I truly am."

She was asked to play basketball at Muscle Beach

Milly got asked to play wheelchair basketball on the famous Muscle Beach in LA. But she admitted that the nerves got the better of her at the time.

"I'm so gutted I didn't do it," she wrote on Insta. "However I am going to start playing and training very soon! I absolutely love Netball so I'm sure I'll also love this."

She's got a first-class degree

Milly had to take some time out of studying when she had her accident, but when she returned to the University of Bournemouth, she achieved a 1st in her Marketing degree.

Milly has been on Capital FM

In 2018, Milly went and spent some time with no less than Marvin Humes in the Capital FM studio.

Milly said: "I had the best time tonight at @capitalofficial with @marvinhumes ... giving me his dj advice He is literally the nicest and most genuine guy!!! Had the best time."

She worked for Chelsea Football Club

Before becoming an influencer, Milly worked as a senior marketing executive for Chelsea FC, so she's no stranger to hobnobbing with celebrities.

Love Island comes to ITV2 on Monday 28th June at 9pm.
