Stacey Solomon Responds To Claims She's Secretly Had Baby

Stacey Solomon has clapped back at a fan who said she “didn’t look pregnant” in a recent post.

The Loose Women star, 31, is expecting a girl with her fiancé Josh Swash, and has been updating her 4.6 million Instagram followers about her pregnancy journey.

Stacey was at her baby shower recently, which was organised by her sister Jemma in their Essex home.

While Stacey was a vision in a satin pink slip dress, as well as a beige flowing top, one fan thought that the star had secretly had the baby, as her bump was no longer so prominent in photos.

Sliding in Stacey’s DMs, the person, who Stacey chose to keep anonymous, wrote: “You don’t look pregnant have you had baby girl?”

 

But the former X Factor finalist explained she hadn’t given birth just yet, with her newest little pickle joining the clan in a few weeks’ time.

“I promise I haven’t secretly had the baby and just casually come on here like nothing happened,” she laughed in a video response.

“I’ll let you know when I go into labour. It’s just this top.

“She’s still in there! It’s just this top I think. A few more weeks left hopefully.”

Stacey’s baby shower saw her fellow Loose Women panellists Jane Moore, Nadia Sawalha and Judi Love attend on the day, as well as Stacey’s close friend and Instagram tidying sensation Mrs Hinch.

And it turns out that ‘not looking pregnant’ wasn’t the only DM Stacey received from fans, who looked at Stacey’s special day on social media.

“So many people messaged me like, “Is this a secret wedding?” And I was like, “No! Does it not look like a baby shower?”’ she told OK! magazine.

To clear up any confusion, Stacey captioned the post: “The Baby Shower. Feeling so overwhelmed and emotional… What a beautiful day.

“My sister arranged a baby shower for me and our little girl and it was so special.

“I love you Jem Jem to the moon and back. I can’t believe she’s nearly here. So grateful for everything. And thank you Sun for shining today.”
