Harry And Meghan: Sussexes' Christmas Card Reveals Archie's Adorable Name For Prince Harry

Harry And Meghan: Sussexes' Christmas Card Reveals Archie's Adorable Name For Prince Harry

Too cute!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Christmas card was released last week, with an adorable photo of the family - including baby daughter Lilibet, who was born in June this year. The card marks the first time the public have seen Lili and also gave a rare glimpse of two-year-old Archie.

Alongside the photo, the Sussexes shared a heartwarming Christmas message, which revealed the name Archie calls his dad, Harry.

Instead of dad or daddy, it turns out Archie calls Harry 'papa'.

"This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a ‘Mama’ and a ‘Papa’, and Lili made us a family," it read.

It seems to be a tradition within the royal family, with Harry calling his dad Prince Charles 'pa' while Charles referred to his father Prince Philip as 'dear papa' in a tribute earlier this year.

The adorable Christmas photo shows Meghan holding Lili, while Harry can be seen laughing and Archie is perched on his dad's knee.

The family opted for a relaxed look, with Harry, Meghan and Archie wearing jeans, while Lili looked adorable in a white romper.

Earlier this week, we told you how one expert claimed the card - which was released by the Rubicon charity to raise money to support Afghan families resettling in US communities - had a 'missing word'.

Royal expert Neil Sean explained: “It’s a very relaxed picture of seemingly a very happy family. Some people have said that this is very akin to the late great Princess Diana, the way she was holding her youngest son Prince Harry. And again, why not if that’s what you want to do.”

However, Neil has claimed that there’s a vital word 'missing' from the card, suggesting the use of ‘Happy Holidays’ instead of the more ‘traditional’ Merry Christmas could be down to Harry and Meghan’s move Stateside.

“I’m told this phrase, ‘Happy Holidays’ is very much a Californian slang,” he explained.
