Perrie Edwards Gives Birth: Little Mix Star Welcomes First Child With Boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

The 28-year-old songstress announced the arrival of her little one on Instagram, writing: “Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21" before sharing a series of black and white snap of the tot's tiny arms and legs.



The Liverpool player gently held Perrie by the waist as she showed off her blossoming baby bump.

Leigh-Anne, 29, shared her own pregnancy shot, wearing gorgeous green robes and she paraded her own expanding tummy, alongside fellow footballer fiance Andre Grey.

The pair both kept their pregnancy under wraps while they were working on new music – however, with their busy touring schedule, Perrie previously admitted she was concerned about revealing the happy news due to work commitments.

She revealed she messaged the Little Mix manager, Samantha Cox, to have a chat about the situation (and, as a strange coincidence, Samantha is also expecting a baby of her own).

“She called me and said, 'You’re pregnant,'" Perrie revealed in an interview with Capital FM.

Samantha then asked to add someone to the call.

"I just heard this voice that said, 'Perrie! You too!' And then we just cried our eyes out. What timing!” Perrie explained.

And it was emotional news for Jade Thirlwall too, when she heard she was going to be an Auntie to not one, but two Little Mix babies.

“Jade’s reaction was the nicest, she was so cute – she cried!" Perrie said, revealing the emotional news.

And like a true pal, Jade helped Perrie and Leigh-Anne keep the pregnancies under wraps.

“We were pregnant at the time and so out of breath, but we didn't want anybody to know... so like choreographers and things,” Perrie explained.

"We didn't want anyone to know so Jade was going 'oh my back' and she was joining in!

"Leigh-Anne was going 'my back hurts' and Jade would go 'oh my back, I know, my back is gone!'"
