And Maura gave her Instagram followers some insight on her relationship with Giovanni, revealing the sugary nicknames the pair call each other.

On the scoreboard, Maura was called “Princess”, where Giovanni had shortened his name to ‘Gio’.

Their playful game of bowling spilled over to their social media, with Giovanni gently ribbing Maura over her skills.

The couple’s date night comes after Giovanni and Maura had a romantic getaway together to celebrate Giovanni’s 31^st birthday.

The pair pampered themselves at a luxury five-star resort and luxury spa in London, before cracking open a bottle of champagne to celebrate.

Giovanni and Maura went public with their relationship in August, but the pair are thought to have been together for a while and kept their relationship under wraps.

Giovanni will be back on our screens ever Saturday for the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing.

While it is not been confirmed who his partner will be, he has already reassured everyone that Maura need not worry about the show’s infamous ‘curse’ where people in relationships split and end up with their dance partners.
