In today's instalment of 'is this still really happening in 2021?' Love Island fans have been forced to call out "sl*t shamers" after a few trolls started to make derogatory comments about Casa Amor beauty, Lillie Haynes.
The reality star isn't every viewer's favourite after almost splitting up Liam Reardon and Millie Court while on the dating show.
But the fact that people are taking to social media to belittle her because of her outfit choices is rather depressing, to say the least.
Are we really still at the stage where we're shaming women for what they wear?!
The conversation started after Lillie stepped out with fellow Casa Amor hunk, Jack Barlow, wearing a stylish black bodycon dress with her midriff on show, and a lace up detail which revealed part of her thigh and cleavage.
The group were on a night out with a bunch of Islanders who had already left the villa, including AJ Bunker and Georgia Townend. And while the most interesting talking point definitely should be the fact that Lillie and Jack appear to have started up a romance, the subject of Lillie's ensemble instead took centre stage. Sigh.
The comments begun to flood onto a Facebook fan page. with trolls claiming cruelly that Millie "leaves nothing to the imagination" and suggesting that the outfit she had picked somehow highlighted a lack of "dignity".
We mean... please.
Luckily, our faith in humanity was soon restored, as tonnes of women flocked to defend poor Lillie, and rightly put down the sl*t shamers for being so shallow and judgemental.
"To everyone who is being horrible about her outfit shut ya mouths, if I looked like that I wouldn’t wear a THING!," one person wrote.
"She looks great. STOP PUTTING OTHER GIRLS DOWN!!"
Meanwhile, another concurred: "The amount of comments I’ve seen insulting her outfit is disgusting, I understand saying she’ll be cold that’s completely fine, but when you’re basically sl*t shaming her it’s just wrong….
"I thought we got to the stage where girls support girls and don’t slut shame each other…. Just cause y’all wouldn’t have the confidence doesn’t mean you have to be rude. It’s 2021 ffs".
A third pointed out that it was mostly "women slamming women" adding: "It’s 2021 people can wear what they want when they want! We don’t need to comment if we don’t like it, just look away!"
SAY IT LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE AT THE BACK.
