We're so happy for Demi.

Standing outside a hospital in Portsmouth, Demi, 23, explained she'd had the results of a full body scan and that she's officially cancer free.

"I’M CANCER FREE!!!! I did it! 🥺🎉 I got my full body scan results back and there’s not a single cancer cell left in my body 🙌," Demi wrote.

"It’s been such a difficult year mentally and physically for me with my surgeries and treatment but I’m beyond grateful for everyone’s kindness and support over this past year 🙏.

"I will continue to be an advocate for cancer awareness and all my love and strength goes out to those who continue to fight this awful disease, here’s to a healthy and happy 2022."

And friends and followers were quick to congratulate Demi on the incredible news.

Fellow Love Islander Shaughna Phillips wrote: "There was only ever gonna be one winner my darling girl."

While Paige Turley added: "The best news ever 🤍🤍🤍 Such a strong girl!"

And Jessica Hayes added: "Amazing news babe ❤️❤️❤️ so happy to hear this news ❤️ beautiful girl xxxx."

Demi first revealed she had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer back in May. Explaining her situation to her followers, she wrote: "Hi guys, I got my results today and unfortunately I have Thyroid cancer.

"The tumour has been removed but I'm now due to have more surgery to remove the rest of my Thyroid."

Demi added: "I'm staying very positive and I'm a strong girl so I'll be fine, thank you for your love and support always. I'll bounce back stronger."

It comes after Demi underwent surgery to remove a 'golf ball sized' lump she was worried about on her neck, back in April, because doctors thought it could be cancerous.

Congratulations Demi, this is the best news.
