Gigi Hadid's Mum Yolanda Posts Adorable Snaps To Celebrate Khai's First Birthday

The proud grandmother, 57, shared a series of snaps from the family's Pennsylvania farm showing baby Khai feeding feeding a baby cow, riding a pony and enjoying her best life.

"Happy first birthday to our Angel Khai..." the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star wrote for the caption.

"No words can express how much love and joy you have brought into our lives in just one year…

She added: "I had to grow a whole other heart to absorb it all, you are such a magical little being that brings us smiles and blessings everyday.

Gigi shares Khai with her boyfriend and former One Direction star Zayn Malik. The pair are usually quite private when it comes to sharing snaps of their family.

Khai rarely features on Gigi or Zayn's Instagram feed, and Gigi has never shared a photo of her little one’s face.

Gigi gave birth to Khai in September last year. While she originally intended to have her first child in a New York City hospital, coronavirus restrictions would have prevented Gigi’s mother Yolanda, or supermodel sister Bella, from being in the room with her while she gave birth.

She said that herself and Malik decided to have a home birth, welcoming Khai after an intense 14 hour labour.

In August, the 26-year-old model dropped a few pictures of Khai, one black and white photo showed Gigi carrying her then 11-month-old baby on her hip as they walked down a field. Another photo showed Khai playing with building blocks.

When Khai's parents announced her arrival, Gigi posted a black and white picture of Zayn's hand alongside his daughter's, as she laid wrapped in a furry blanket.

Sharing the news on Instagram, model Gigi wrote: "Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she's already changed our world. So in love".
