Fans Thrilled As Britney Spears Teases New Music

The pop princess flexed her vocal chops.

Britney Spears has showed off her incredible vocal range on social media, and potentially teased new music.

The Toxic singer, 40, took to Instagram to show off her famous singing voice to her 38 million followers – and they were thrilled to hear her sing live again.

You can watch the video below.

The short clip was accompanied with a now-deleted caption where Britney teased she may be working on some new music.

She also took aim at her family, who she has been heavily critical of after her controversial conservatorship came to an end last month.

“I needed to be my own cheerleader!” Britney wrote. “God knows they [my family] weren’t.”

After sharing some stats about herself, which said that she had sold over 100 million records worldwide, she added: “No, I’m not auditioning for anything! I’m reminding myself and the world of who I am.

“Yes I will be my own cheerleader. Why? I’m here to remind my white ‘classy’ family that I haven’t forgotten what they did to me, nor will I ever forget!

“Psss new song in the works. I’m gonna let you know what I mean.”

Fans were thrilled to hear Britney back to what she does best, and quickly praised the star in the comments.

Fellow pop star Miley Cyrus wrote: “Vocal bible,” referring to Britney’s extensive range, while her fiancé, Sam Asghari, gushed: “I fn love this so much.”

A third person praised Britney for using her talents to help during an otherwise bleak-looking Christmas: “New song! She might’ve just cured us of omicron!”

While a fourth urged her to keep making music: “BEAUTIFUL VOICE! Please keep sharing your beautiful gift & soulful voice with the world.”

“Britney is coming! OMG!” said a fifth, and a sixth warmly praised: “You have you voice back.”

Britney’s announcement seems to be somewhat of a U-turn, after she previously suggested she wanted to quit performing altogether.

Earlier this year, her manager, Larry Rudolph, resigned from her team after she reportedly informed him she looked to retire from music.

“It has been over two and a half years since Britney and I last communicated, at which time she informed me she wanted to take an indefinite work hiatus,” Rudolph, who worked with Spears for 25 years, said at the time.

Could she have changed her mind?

Tyla has contacted representatives for Britney for comment.
