Britney Fans In Meltdown As Sam Asghari Calls Her His 'Wife' For The First Time

Congratulations are in order for Britney Spears – the singer, who has recently been entirely freed from her conservatorship – has just turned 40.
But it looks as if we should also be congratulating her on her recent wedding as her long-term partner, Sam Asghari, has suggested the pair have secretly married.

The couple, who have been dating since 2016, got engaged in September this year – but appear to have actually tied the knot in private if this Instagram post is anything to go by
In a sweet snap of them sharing a kiss, Sam captioned the photo: “I call you Lioness because I admire your relentless strength, I’m inspired by your beautiful heart, I celebrate your smile that lights up my world.
“Every day is your birthday my queen. Happy first birthday to my wife.”
Naturally, fans lost it at this revelation and were quick to flood the comments out of curiosity.
“Wife?” asked one fan, with an open-mouth emoji.
“Wife? When? Congratulations!” enthused another person.
A third merely asked: “Married?”
However, regardless of whether the pair have officially had their nuptials, fans were just delighted to see Britney looking genuinely happy again.
“Iconic!” wrote pleased fan. “So happy for you both.”
“Power couple for the win!” said a second.
“The perfect couple,” added a third, while a fourth agreed: “So glad to see Britney happy again for the first time in years! Love you guys.”
Britney’s conservatorship officially ended after 13 years in early November.
The ruling was announced at Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday where Judge Brenda Penny formally dissolved the legal arrangement that has controlled the pop icon’s life, money, career and medication since 2008 following her psychiatric hospitalisation earlier that year.
Her lawyer Matthew Rosengart successfully fought to terminate the arrangement despite her dad Jamie Spears, who presided over his daughter’s conservatorship, ferociously defending the arrangement until recently.
