You Can Soon Camp Inside A Giant Wooden Pig And It Has To Be Seen To Be Believed

From treehouses and abandoned planes to your own personal island, Airbnb has offered us some seriously wacky stays over recent years. But we've just discovered a brand-new listing opening this summer, and it's guaranteed to bring home the bacon (sorry).

Ladies and gents, you can now go camping inside a giant pink pig.

Courtesy of Orchard Pig Pink Cider, the Trojan Pig is the world's first piggy home. It's perfect for a camping trip for two, but can comfortably fit up to 12 people inside, so it's time to round up your girlfriends - like now.

And the best bit? It's completely portable meaning it can be delivered to the location of your choice.

If you hadn't figured it out already, this is nothing like your average digs. Far from a tent, the Trojan Pig comes complete with all the camping essentials you need for a cosy night under the stars including sleeping bags, festoon lighting, cooking equipment and soft furnishings.

Oh, and they'll even throw in a case of ice-cold pink cider for your troubles. What more could you possibly want?

"Everyone loves a taste of the countryside but we know it's not always easy to get to, and the old-school camping experience isn't always glamorous," said Rhona Fyfe, Manager of Orchard Pig.

"That's why we're turning glamping into glamPIG - bringing flavours of the farmlands to wherever you desire, complete with sleeping bags, facilities and of course plenty of Orchard Pig Pink cider to quench your thirst."

Interested? Of course you are. Well prices start at £100 per night and available from the beginning of August with bookings open the week before. We predict the dates will sell out quicker than a Glastonbury re-sale, though, so if you don't manage to reserve a night then don't fret, the pig will going on a festival tour later in the month.

"We promise that you'll never experience anything like it - prepare for a night sleeping inside a giant wooden PIG - that's something to snout about," added Rhona.
