Gouda News: This Company Is Hiring For A Professional Cheese Taster

Gouda News: This Company Is Hiring For A Professional Cheese Taster

It might sound cheesy, but sort out you CV as we may have just found your dream job. Also, prepare yourself for a hella lot of cheese-related puns (sorry, not sorry).

This company is hiring for a professional cheese taster, and the opportunity sounds brie-lliant if you know your camembert from your caerphilly.

Manchester-based delivery experience company, Sorted, is on the hunt to find an assistant to the current in-house Director of Cheese. It's a brand new position which has come up, as the current Director of Cheese needs all hands on deck for the company's 'Cheesy Tuesday'.

Each month, all of the team comes together for a very special social event to taste all the cheese under the sun, and vote for their favourite fromage. Can I get a piece of that, please?

You will be the one buying (and eating!) all of the cheesy delights, as well as planning these monthly cheese parties.

There are loads of perks for the job too like unlimited cheese, 40 days holiday plus your birthday off. You got me at unlimited cheese in all honesty.

Sorted's current Director of Cheese, Emma Smith, said: "It's not easy being cheesy and we don't just mean some of the team's questionable playlists.

"I'm in need of an assistant who knows how to Caerphilly create a good cheese (leader) board and doesn't mind a faint odour following them after work.

"This role isn't about cheese. It's about culture; a culture that's fostered by the people at Sorted - making it a one-off place to be employed that puts its people first.

"Our people are like family. Sorted staff are brave, bold, creative and take risks, so Sorted is a place that truly develops and encourages its talent. And of course, loves a slice of cheese... or three!"
