If you are all about the spooks, then you might want to tag along on the world's largest ghost hunt, which is happening next month across the globe.

On 29th September, as part of National Ghost Hunting day, a huge 150 satellite hunts will kick off at over 100 supposedly haunted locations around the world to see what all the spooky beings are up to for an entire two hours.

All of these ghost hunts will kick off at the exact same time on the exact same day to make it the world's biggest ghost hunt ever known.

You can check out a full list of the satellite locations here, but there will be five here in the UK.

Four of them are in England, including the abandoned Revesby Abbey in Lincolnshire, which has got a reputation for being one of the most active buildings in Britain.

Brighton's old police cells are also included in the hunt, as well St Peter's Railway Bridge at St Peter's ChurchSt Peter's Church, Wickham Bishops in Essex.

Cultybraggan Camp in west Perthshire, Scotland, which was first used as a prisoner of war camp during World War II, is also taking part.

National Ghost Hunting Day was founded in 2016 by Haunted Travels USA, and it is now officially registered with National Day Calendar - a concept which first started in 2013 to celebrate almost everything and anything.

The day is dedicated to preserve the history of the haunted, 'recognising' and 'celebrating' all kinds of ghost hunting fanatics, from the novices, right up to the experts.

There is no fee to register or be part of the spooky supernatural event, but whatever proceeds are made will be donated right back to the historic properties that are being investigated.

Year on year, the hunt is getting bigger, and 2018 will see six continents, 12 countries and over 100 haunted properties will gather together for the ghost hunt. In comparison, in 2017, 92 properties in 10 countries and four continents took part on the day.

The World's Biggest Ghost Hunt is scheduled for 10pm ET until 12am ET, so make a date in your diaries... if you're brave enough.
