A cat owner has created the ultimate play area for his pets and we officially know where the happiest kitties in the world live.

Named 'Kitty Towers' the incredible high-rise constructions are a sight to behold, and are separated by a cute bridge so the cats can pop over to visit each other whenever they want.

Rob Couto, from Connecticut, wanted to create a special living space for his kitties - Zach, a two-year-old Savannah and Tabatha, an 11-year-old red tabby cat.

So, he set about creating 'Kitty Towers' where both cats could climb and play. Each tower has balconies where the kitties can look out, windows, adorable window flower boxes, 'outdoor' lights and an epic bridge to connect the two.

If all that wasn't jaw-dropping enough, there's also a front door on each as well as lights inside the buildings, too.

Each tower is made from pet-safe materials including wood, plastic and MDF, and inside there's even plush carpets for the kitties. So luxurious.

Rob explained most of the materials were purchased from the likes of Amazon, Home Depot and local hobby stores.

Rob told Tyla: "I've had cats all my life so I have a lot of experience of knowing what they like.

"I'd never attempted anything on this scale before and it took around a year to make since I only worked on it during the evenings and at weekends.

"Zach helped supervise from the designing process through to now! Both cats wanted to use it but Zach quickly claimed both and is possessive of them. He uses them all day long and watches TV from them too.

"I hope one day this will be so successful that I can donate these type of structures to pet cafes and pet shelters, etc.

"I have a lot of developing plans for different ways people will be able to obtain these and/or build them, I'm still working on all that."

When Rob decided to make the towers last May, he set up a Facebook page to document his progress and it's since attracted over 15,000 users.

Now, he's even considering making and selling more of the towers, so other kitties can have the same magical experience.

"I would just like to say how humbling it is to see all the responses that continue to come it, thanks everyone, keep them coming," he wrote on Facebook.

"Because of the demand, I am considering making them for people as a custom install, once I have sorted out all the legal stuff. That said, the price would vary but the larger tower shown on the left would most like start around $5,800 [approx £4,640] est. plus tax and any extra related fees.

"Custom designs will be offered at additional costs for both build and blueprints.

"Do not take any shortcuts in building or purchasing these when they become available as the safety of the kitties are my foremost focus."

Followers can't get enough of the incredible designs, with hundreds expressing how much their kitties would love the towers.

Rob has been building the towers for almost a year (

One wrote: "Absolutely amazing! My sister has many cats and her kitties would have a ball in this."

While another said: "Heck I want this. And I don't have a cat."

We're honestly blown away by these designs - and we thought *we* spoiled our cats!
