The biggest debate for any Harry Potter fan is trying to decide what house we'd be in if we turned out to be a witch or a wizard.
While some people might think they know where the sorting hat would place them, there's no real way of knowing whether we'd end up being bunk buddies with Hermione Granger or Cho Chang.

Well, it turns out that you can find out where the sorting hat would place you after all, thanks to these mugs that reveal your house when you fill them with hot liquid.
The sorting hat mugs are black in colour until filled with a hot beverage, when they will reveal where you truly belong in the world of Hogwarts.
They are on sale for $18.99, which is just under £15 here in the UK, and you can find them at Accio This.

Meanwhile, Argos is selling an official talking Harry Potter sorting hat, which will let you know whether you're destined to be in Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or dreaded Slytherin.
You will need to save up your galleons though gals, as one of these hats is £39.99 a pop. It might be on the pricey side, but you can't really put a cost on magic, now can you?
Just like in the movies, you pop the talking hat on your head, and he will tell you whether you're a bravehearted Gryffindor or a meany Slytherin.

While you probably won't make a fashion statement with this old thing on your head, it does look exactly like the real deal from the Harry Potter franchise, as it is made from a brown suede-effect material and looks ancient.
If you are across the pond in the US, then Cosmopolitan reports that Target is also selling talking Harry Potter sorting hats for just $24.99 (£19.30).
While the price tag might be cheaper in the States, we doubt flying over their to pick one up will be good value for money.
