A woman was left crying with laughter after purchasing a set of £3 clip in veneers, only to be left with a huge cheesy grin when they arrived.

Sara Hamilton, 30, from Bolton was delighted when she first came across the 'bargain' and after reading some good reviews, she was sold.

The mum-of-one has type one diabetes and explained the condition has caused her teeth to become damaged.

For this reason, she started looking around for a set of replacement clip ins for everyday use.

And while she was sceptical over the quality of the clip-ins at first, she decided to give them a go after some glowing feedback online.

"My teeth have been damaged due to my sugars being uncontrolled which has made me feel self-conscious so I wanted to get some clip-in veneers for everyday use," she explained.

However, when the pearly white veneers arrived, Sara was in hysterics at the gigantic teeth which were way too big for her mouth.

The mum said she was crying with laughter at her reflection. Despite the product description explaining the veneers are 'one size fits all' Sara explained they were huge.

In a photo, the mum can be seen unable to even close her mouth the teeth are so big.

"They were only cheap so it wasn't a great loss and the reviews were good so I thought I may as well try my luck," explained Sara.

"I was so excited for them to arrive which took a couple of weeks but as soon as I took them out of the package - I burst into laughter.

"They were so white and huge - I was in hysterics when I put them in my mouth. I couldn't even close my mouth never mind talk!

"I shared the photo with my friends who were all laughing too - it was brilliant. It's safe to say, I won't be wearing them in public - unless it is Halloween!"

Note to self - there are some things you just shouldn't buy online...
