An amazing video shows a baby bear refusing to give up reaching its mum at the top of a snowy mountain, despite falling to the bottom multiple times.

In the tense video, a mother bear waited patiently at the top of the mountain for her cub to join her.

However, you could say the small bear had a few problems getting to the top as it struggled to keep its grip and slid down the mountain a couple of times.

We're not sure about you, but our nerves were sky high while watching the three-minute long video.

At one stage, the cub finally gets just metres away from its mum and you think they've finally done it, until she spots the drone filming the footage.

The mum seems a bit nervous about the unfamiliar object in the air and lunges towards it which sends chunks of snow down the mountain.

This also sends the cub sliding down the mountain.

If you can't bear (pun intended) to watch the video, don't worry as the baby does make it to the top and is reunited with its parent.

Former co-host of Discovery Channel's science magazine Daily Planet, Ziya Tong, posted the video on Twitter, saying: "We could all learn a lesson from this baby bear: Look up and don't give up."

The clip has been receiving a lot of love on social media because of the message it sends about resilience.

One user wrote: "This baby bear is the literal picture of resilience and I adore it."

Another added: "Wow, this shows that you never give up by all means however hard it is, just keep trying till you achieve your goals."

However, one user raised the issue of using drones near wildlife as the older bear is obviously anxious about the unknown object.

In response, Ziya said that she hoped a side effect of the tweet would be that the public would be made aware of better filming practices with drones in the wild.
