Confused Dog Waits In Rain For Two Hours After Owner Pulls Prank

Our hearts go out to this little dog, who was left out in the rain after he fell victim of a prank by his owner.

The gorgeous golden retriever, called Double Seven, went viral after being filmed sitting in the rain for two hours.

The fur baby was cuddled up in the garden waiting for his owner, who had to pull some trickery to stop his pet following him all the way to work.

He’d signal for Double Seven to get out of the car and move to the back seat, and sped off when he went to do so.

In the clip, the pooch sits obediently outside in the pouring rain at the spot where the car had been, waiting for his owner’s return.

The heart-warming footage was uploaded to popular Chinese app Douyin, with the caption: “My husband went to work in the morning and Double Seven jumped onto the passenger's seat at the front.

"He told him he had to put his bag at the front and signalled Double Seven to get to the back seat.

"But when he jumped off the car and ready to hop onto the back, my husband just sped off to work.

“And this is the response he gives my husband to make him regret of the prank."

People online were left in hysterics after watching the clip, with many rushing to Double Seven’s defence.

Another person said Double Seven had been “so wronged”, while someone else thought he was “very stubborn”.

“Dogs are like children,” commented someone else.

Double Seven’s owner later provided an update, saying she had taken him on a scooter for a walk.

When her husband arrived home around 1am, his wife said he “couldn’t stop laughing” when she told him that the loyal pup had been waiting for him.

The sweet pet was given the unusual moniker after being born on 7th July.
