Kim Kardashian ruffled feathers at the Met Gala when she rocked up in the Maison Margiela look

The Met Gala is now in full swing this evening (6 May) and people all over the globe have been glued to their screens checking out all the weird and wonderful outfits.

We've already seen the likes of Doja Cat, Jennifer Lopez, Lana Del Rey and Ariana Grande make their way up the famous steps to strut their stuff and show off their outfits, but it seems many fans have since focussed their attention onto none other than Kim Kardashian.

Now, the theme of the evening is 'Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion' with a dress code of 'The Garden of Time'.

The reality TV star was seen wearing an extremely waist-cinching custom Margiela by John Galliano strapless silver corset and the look was completed with some floor-length silver leaf mesh netting and a grey shrug-style cardigan to pair with tousled blonde locks.

Fans have since rushed to social media to share their reactions to Kim's outfit with some absolutely loving the ensemble.

"SHE EATS EVERY YEAR," praised one X user.

A second piped up: "OH YES KIMBERLY."

"What a serve," gushed a third, while a fourth exclaimed: "She looks so stunning omg!"

"She'll serve no matter what," complimented another fan while a sixth quipped: "Kim Kardashian always makes a statement with her fashion choices!"

Others, however, were less impressed with one X user slamming: "Did she just wake up?"

"WHERE IS HER WAIST?!!" echoed another while a third chimed in: "Her waist is making us uncomfortable."

A fourth added: "Her waist oh my?!!?!?!!"

"What surgery did she have done to her waist to get it that small," asked a fifth while a sixth penned: "Her waist is non-existent in that dress."

"Girl where is your waist???" wondered a seventh while an eighth highlighted: "Kim Kardashian’s waist is absurd. Like not to be a hater but it actually is concerning especially when ppl aspire to be like her. Sorry."

A ninth worried: "Your waist does NOT need to me that small? Are you okay?"

"Kim Kardashian’s waist cinched like that… it’s just kinda scary ngl," slammed another while a final X user wondered: "Why do you continue to promote a unhealthy waist at this gala?

"This is not natural and not healthy. I like you a lot and don’t understand why this is your goal?"
