The twins have previously expressed interest in becoming parents

For those who watched the TLC show Abby & Brittany, we’re pleased to inform you there have been wedding bells.

The conjoined twins, who live in Minnesota, US, were first thrust into the spotlight following a stint on The Oprah Winfrey Show back in 1996 at just 6-years-old.

Now, they are 34-years-old and have surpassed many milestones.

Abby and Brittany are conjoined by the dicephalus, sharing a bloodstream and all organs below the waist.

Abby controls their right arm and leg, while Brittany controls the limbs on the left.

The twins were given their own eponymous show in 2012, Abby & Brittany, which showed them navigating life in their twenties and graduating from Bethel University.

During the first episode of their TLC show, the twins admitted people have been ‘curious’ about them since they were born.

"But our parents never let us use that as an excuse. We were raised to believe we could do anything we wanted to do," they shared.

And it seems they haven’t let anything hold them back, as Abby is now married.

Abby is now happily married to a man named Josh Bowling, a nurse and US army veteran.

It has emerged that they have been married since 2021 - and images from the twins’ Facebook page shows a happy wedding day.

It has also been revealed that the sisters are both teaching fifth grade in Minnesota.

This happy news is a return to the spotlight after news about them has been quiet for around a decade.

The twins also featured on a 2006 documentary Joined for Life: Abby & Brittany Turn 16.

At the time, Brittany said: "The whole world doesn't need to know who we're dating, or what we're gonna do and everything."

However, they did show an interest in having children one day.

"Yeah, we're going to be moms," Brittany was recorded as saying during documentary filming. "We haven't thought about how being moms is going to work yet."

So, perhaps we will be able to announce some baby news in the future.
