Now that the big day is less than a month away, I'm sure many of us our frantically going through Christmas lists and rushing to the shops to nab those last-minute gifts for our loved ones.

Well, one mum was doing exactly that when she was left absolutely mortified after discovering an X-rated pattern on a top she bought her daughter for Christmas.

The mum, who goes by the handle @resolutera online, took to TikTok to share the ordeal with her 37k followers and she's since sent the internet into an absolute frenzy howling at the hilarity of the situation. Have a look:

She began the video calling it a 'PSA for the Christmas shopping parents'.

The mum then showed the top in question which, on a quick glance, looks like a grey and white camouflage print.

However, upon closer inspection, the design was far from it.

"I bought this for my daughter last year," she continued.

Referencing the zip details, the mum admitted: "I thought these were fairies.

"Uh-uh. Strippers. And on deeper inspection the whole pattern is strippers."

She captioned the TikTok: "Took me 11 months to notice!"

The mum was stunned after finally realising what the hoodie design actually was.

The short clip has since gone viral after clocking up more than 887.1k views in just one day after being posted to the platform.

Viewers clearly couldn't wait to share their reactions with hundreds upon hundreds of people rushing in to comment on the major fashion blunder.

It seemed many others were in the exact same boat as the mum with one TikTok user admitting: "It took me four watches to spot what you were talking about, so easy to not notice!"

"To be fair looks like camo," penned a second while a third chimed in: "I thought it was like the camouflage thing."

"The way my jaw dropped. I thought it was camouflage," commented a fourth.

Another echoed: "HELP I DIDN'T REALISE THE PATTERN UNTIL SHE POINTED IT OUT!"

Me neither, tbh.

The mum said the designs were 'strippers'.

Now, any Millennials or older Gen Z kids will know all about similar designs seen on Kappa and Playboy attire with many

absolutely loving the design and even wanting to bag one of the risqué hoodies for themselves.

"I need this so much," wrote one fan of the garment.

A second insisted: "If she doesn't want it I'd happily take it!"

"It is so cool tho I want it," revealed a third while a fourth asked: "WHERE DID U GET IT FROM???"

The mum explained the raunchy hoodie in question was from the brand the Named Collective.

According to the designer's website, the hoodie titled 'UNREALISTIC IDEALS ZIP HOODIE SNOW CAMO' retails for £80 but is currently sold-out online.

What do you make of it?
